I was outside the office and he was walking in. I held the door for him, and he asked me, “How’s it going?”
Not really a conversation, but hey, I met him.
It’s actually the second time I’ve seen him in real life. A few years ago, I almost hit him while he was running and I was riding my bike on the Mount Vernon Trail.
She lives closeby, so why not? Plus she wants to toilet train her cat. Impressive!

I somehow got a headache while I was at the 43things dinner. A guest of Surly’s recommended that I try to squeeze my big toe and little toe at the same time. LL goaded me into it, and even took an action shot!

Unfortunately, all I got to do was shake his hand hello/good-bye. He was sitting at the other banquet table and had to leave right after dinner. (Maybe he squeezed his toes so hard he needed a cast… I dunno.)

I walked into our assigned room for the 43things dinner, and Wundergrl21 turns to me and says, “Chuq! I’m wundergrl!” How nice is that? I wish I’d gotten to hang out a little more at the other table, but I didn’t really have the chance and had to leave early. Hopefully I’ll see her again soon!
